Philip Wunderle arrived in the United States from Gernsheim Germany in December 1865
Our claim to fame
Candy Corn was first produced by Wunderle Candy Company in 1888. George Renninger, a long time employee, collaborated with Wunderle to produce the product known as "Butter Cream", one type was originally called "Chicken Corn" and later became know as the iconic Candy Corn that we now know today.
Holiday Goodies
Along with our standards, every holiday brought about the return of holiday favorites. While Candy Corn, Some Punkins and Mixed Nuts were always Fall Favorites, Christmas, Easter and other annual holidays always brought forth the return of old favorites.
